End your first day in a beautiful setting, enjoying a unique experience and the only one of its kind in Europe!
The Métamorph’eau’ses boat tripwith light and sound show, on the water. This tour takes place after dark. Admire the monuments adorned with the most spectacular lighting and the stunning underground galleries. The city and its treasures are revealed through the magic of light projections.
At the end of this fun-packed day, you’ll sleep well and we wish you sweet dreams!

Collegiale Notre Dame En Vaux Unesco Canal Mau © Jean Côme NicolleFor your second day, we begin with a visit to Notre Dame-en-Vaux Collegiate Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. This church contains magnificent stained-glass windows dating from the 12th to the 19th century, as well as a carillon of 56 bells, installed in 1858, considered to be one of the largest in Europe.

Just a short distance from the church, the Musée du Cloître de Notre-Dame-en-Vaux displays a remarkable collection of 55 statue-columns, with decorative historiated capitals, cornices and pillars that adorned the cloister that was built between 1170 and 1180, and which was destroyed in the 18th century.

After lunch, discover another side to Châlons by observing the city through the eyes of Cabu.
Visit the Duduchothèque, a venue dedicated to the childhood drawings of Jean Cabut, known as Cabu (1938-2015).
A permanent exhibition allows you to discover Cabu’s talented world through a series of illustrations from his youth.

Next, head to the centre of the city to the Musée Champagne Famille Carbot.
Olga is your host and will take you on a journey through time, from the depths of the Baltic Sea, through our special terroir, to discover all of the aromas of champagne and what makes it sparkle.
This museum offers a really fun alternative to traditional champagne house tours.
If you are in Châlons-en-Champagne during the summer months, it’s worth dropping by the Tourist Office.
