In order to make this place a high place of American memory, the land of Blanc-Mont is ceded to the United States. From 1927 to 1932, a vast tower (18.40m) offering a remarkable panorama over the battlefield was built.
Orientation tables allow you to observe the configuration of the battlefield, the remains of trenches and the surrounding villages and other battle sites.
At its base and on each of its sides are carved the insignia of the American divisions that have come to Champagne.
The American Battle Monuments Commission, created in 1923, maintains it and perpetuates the memory of these combatants who came to die so far from their country.
