Since 1825, year that the Joseph Perrier Estate was created by its eponymous founder, the cellars have been anchored in the landscape of Châlons. Unique in Châlons-en-Champagne, these single-storey cellars have been dug in the hill overlooking the Estate and are protected by its wooded park which plays the role of natural climatic regulator. Of Gallo-Roman origin, they extend over three kilometers and are still used to make the Champagne Joseph Perrier. Their vaults in the shape of a warhead culminating at 10 meters, their skylights, their walls testifying to the work of thousands of men, retrace the history of these magnificent cellars where millions of bottles age. During your visit, you will discover the secrets of the House, astonishing anecdotes, the historic Gallo-Roman cellars and you will taste the precious beverage in the historic winery. A specific tasting is offered to the children. Reservations on our website, at the Tourist Office, by phone or directly on the Joseph Perrier champagne website.
