Take a tour of the city with

the whirlwind tour

To get the day off to a good start, head over to the Tourist Office at 3 Quai des Arts.

There, you’ll discover the Maison de la Petite Juiverie, a stunning timber-framed building dating back to the 16th century. This is where the Tourist Office is located!

Here, you’ll find our “Whirlwind Tour” brochure which allows you to discover the city on foot in around 1 and a half to 2 hours. This is the perfect way to start your visit to Châlons-en-Champagne. Don’t forget to take a stroll through the Jards, our three fabulous gardens located right in the heart of the city.

The Eau’dyssée boat trip

Not to be missed

After lunch, go back to the Tourist Office where you can board the Eau’dyssée boat trip, a Châlons-en-Champagne essential! Enjoy this 50-minute tour along the canals, while listening to the fascinating commentary from our expert captains.

The perfect activity for relaxing after lunch!

Chalk-mining pits and

champagne

After your boat trip, make your way over to 69 Avenue de Paris. A 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive will take you right to the entrance of the Joseph Perrier Champagne House.

Step inside to discover this unique champagne house, a wonderful tour through 2,000 year old Gallo-Roman chalk-mining pits.

A sparkling journey through the centuries.

End your day on a

terrace bar or doing some shopping

To complete this fabulous day out, head back to the Place de la République to sip a glass in one of the terrace bars.

Yes, it’s already happy hour!
