The Ep'eau'pée boat trip

along canals in the heart of nature

Happy, like Ulysses… enjoy a wonderful journey, explore a new landscape, set off from the Canal St Martin, to the cove of the Jard with the highlight of this journey…passing through the lock. The Ep’eau’pée. A new tour, and a new experience.

A boat trip

in the heart of nature

The Ep’Eau’pée is a boat trip that was created in 2021. It differs from the two existing excursions, the Eau’dyssée and the Métamorph’eau’ses, in that it is totally oriented towards nature and its conservation.

Set off from the Tourist Office to go to the Canal Saint-Martin lined with magnificent plane trees. Then on to the Canal Latéral à la Marne…

During the tour, the boat captain will explain the city’s water system, the aquatic fauna and flora and how the lock operates.

All in all, a highly informative trip!

Passing through the lock

Impressive!

The highlight of the trip is passing through the lock along the way.

This is a completely safe passage, but still impressive as a passenger in a small boat!

Once past the lock, the boat will go along the “Anse du Jard”, a small island which is home to many protected bird species, before passengers disembark at the Grand Jard.

This is the opportunity to make the most of your trip by spending time in this lush green leisure area, particularly during the summer months when Châlons Beach is open.
