Château de Vitry-la-Ville

The Vitry-la-Ville Castle is located 16 kilometers south-east of Chalons-en-Champagne. It was erected in the 17th century and enlarged in the 18th century. It is one of the rare Champagne building built in chalk stone and topped with a purple slate roof of Ireland.

This romantic setting is located in the heart of a 17-hectare estate, surrounded by rivers and ponds, moats and bridges and an elegant French garden designed by Le Nôtre, all enhanced by two unique portals, forged by the Master Ferronnier of Louis the 14th.

With its three large indoor lounges and its Garden Cottage outside, the Chateau de Vitry-la-Ville is an ideal place to host your receptions, weddings, business events and seminars, dinners, dances, shootings of films, cultural events, but also to taste the pleasures of "the life in a castle", for a refreshing stay with family or between friends in the countryside and the cellars champenoises.

Up to 80 people can be welcomed indoors, 200 people outdoors and 35 people can be accommodated. On site, enjoy many services and activities: table d'hôte, swimming pool, gym, bucolic walks, fishing, boat trips in the moat... A real castle life!
