Rent wooden bicycles made in Champagne at the Tourist Office of Châlons-en-Champagne!

The Tourist Office has just bought 2 wooden bicycles from Hexagone Bikes, a young company based in Vavray-le-Petit, 40km far from Châlons. Indeed, a few months ago we went to meet Quentin and Grégoire, two young entrepreneurs who created the company Hexagone Bikes.

Completely seduced by these handcrafted wooden bicycles, the Office decided to buy two of them to offer them for rental. These high-performance wooden bicycles provide unparalleled comfort – they absorb vibrations – and are very aesthetically pleasing. The wood, in this case ash, allows you to be 100% autonomous in manufacturing: from the selection in the sawmill to the work of the boards, and up to the assembly of the different parts of the frame.

The two young partners are full of talent and truly passionate:
Quentin is an engineer and an adventurer at heart. At 30, after having traveled half the world by bicycle in 2015, he manages the assembly of bicycles and the development of the brand.
Grégoire, a technician, very skilled with his hands, has successfully made everything he undertakes, in particular prototypes of wooden bicycles since 2018. He is in charge of manufacturing Hexagone wooden bicycles. He is the one who designs, manufactures and assembles the bicycles.
