The Marne federation for fishing and the protection of the aquatic environment coordinates the actions of the 26 approved associations for fishing and the protection of the aquatic environment which make up the department's associative network.

Its role and missions:

• Implementation of actions to promote fishing leisure activities, fishing activities and environmental awareness and education for young people and adults alike.
• Protection of aquatic environments (restoration of hydraulic annexes, ecological continuity, etc.).
• Studies of fish populations.
• Development, monitoring and control of compliance with regulations on the departmental fish farming area.
