Site et Moulin de Valmy

Visit this prestigious site where the Battle of Valmy took place on September, 20th, 1792. The mill has become its symbol.

Since the 16th century, no less than four mills have succeeded each other on the hill of Valmy. One was destroyed during the Battle of Valmy while the next was destroyed by the 1999 storm.

The current mill was inaugurated in 2005. Particular care has been taken to ensure that the mill conforms to that of the 18th century.
This mill is functional and capable of producing flour. Come and discover the secrets of flour production through guided tours organized in the summer. Booking below.
