Musée de la Machine à Coudre

Created by Huguette and Lucien Cordier, it is one of the most important museums of old sewing machines both in terms of number of machines and rarity. Today, Laurent, their son, continues to keep this gem alive.

Discover old sewing machines: hand, pedal, piston, string, travel machines or the first electric. The well-known Singer but also Peugeot, Mercedes and Opel who started by manufacturing sewing machines before becoming automobile manufacturers.

More than 500 sewing machines, dating from 1830 to 1900, not counting the other 500 sewing machines designed for children which are also more than a century old.

A visit not to be missed! The museum opens its doors to you by appointment.
