The Museum Champagne Famille Carbot is a family structure, which welcomes you in a listed building, in the heart of Châlons-en-Champagne.

Olga and her smiling team offer you different guided tour packages. On the ground floor of the museum, the journey through time begins. We imagine ourselves at the bottom of the Baltic Sea, where, 170 years after a shipwreck, divers have discovered and brought up to the surface intact bottles of champagne! Among them, Juglar cuvées, named after the Châlonnais merchant who lived in the house, which has now become the Carbot Museum.

Upstairs, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Champagne region. We follow the birth of a bunch of grapes throughout the 4 seasons. The viticultural and vinicultural tools, more than 500 pieces in total, reveal the secrets of bubbles, aromas, work and winegrower know-how.

The aromas still accompany us, from the oenological space to the tasting room. Here, the journey through the different Champagne terroirs celebrates the senses and pleasures, while tasting the cuvées of the Carbot family.

The family range includes 5 champagnes of character: Violette, Simon, Lily-Rose, Michelle and Pierre. Like each member of the family, each cuvée has its name, style and temperament.

Created in association with winegrowers, Carbot bubbles restore the strengths and particularities of the four great Champagne regions: the Côte des Bar, the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs.

At the end of the visit, for your pleasure and that of your loved ones, all the tasted vintages are available in store. A visit to the museum guarantees a festive experience, a different alternative to tourist discoveries with the family.

This visit can also accompany special events, such as team-building, bachelorette parties, etc... A trip to the Carbot museum also quite simply promotes the pleasures shared with friends.
