Maison de Champagne Canard-Duchêne

35min far from Châlons-en-Champagne and 20 minutes far from the city center of Reims, in the heart of the vineyard, the Canard-Duchêne Estate offers you a surprising visit and invites you to discover part of its 6km long cellars.

Canard-Duchêne combines a unique origin, history and style. The house has been located since 1868 in Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims Natural Park, nobility of the champagne region. Its founders, Victor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, faces of the Champagne region, were recognized by the Imperial House of Russia worthy of displaying its coat of arms. The crowned double-headed eagle, emblem of the Russian imperial family, has thus adorned all the labels of Maison Canard-Duchêne since the end of the 19th century. Between originality and authenticity, his champagnes combine fruit, intensity and complexity.

The privileged location in the heart of the Montagne de Reims vineyard requires a means of transport (car, taxi, bicycle, etc.) to reach the estate from Châlons-en-Champagne, Reims or Epernay. From Paris, take the TGV, a 45-minute journey, to Reims center or Champagne-Ardenne TGV station. Then take a taxi or rent a vehicle.
