The programme

for this tour

Included in the programme:

9.30am: Coffee reception at the Tourist Office. Enjoy a moment to get to know the Tourist Office team, who welcome you in their “cosy” premises over a coffee.

10am – 12pm: “In the footsteps of Marie-Antoinette” guided tour including a visit to the Marie-Antoinette oratory in the Hôtel des Intendants de Champagne and a walk up to the top of Porte Sainte-Croix.

12.30 – 2.30pm: Enjoy lunch in one of the participating restaurants: starter + main course + dessert + drinks included.

3 – 5.30pm: Free admission to the Interpretation Centre of Valmy 1792 and guided tour of the mill and the battle site. The current mill is the fourth to stand on the site since 1792 and remains the most iconic symbol of the Proclamation of the Republic.
