La Cueillette d’Aulnay

The cueillette d’Aulnay sur Marne is situated 13 kilometres from Châlons-en-Champagne, in the centre of the Reims-Epernay-Châlons triangle.

Here, Amaury and his team grow vegetables, fruit and flowers of all kinds. Their aim? To give you the real taste of freshly picked, ripe produce, at the right price, directly “from the producer to the consumer”.

From mid-April to mid-November, nearly 40 species of fruit and vegetables are selected for their quality of flavour and are produced using sustainable farming methods.

At the entrance to the picking area, take a basket, a pair of secateurs and even a wheelbarrow and set off to explore the fields and orchards.

Market gardener and horticultural producerPatrick Domange

Covering a total area of 13,000 m2, the nursery includes 500 m2 of glass greenhouses and 2,000 m2 of polytunnels. Patrick DOMANGE operates his production in a traditional way, in line with an extensive Quality Charter on the seasonality of the products, their freshness, their flavour, controlled use of fertilisers and pesticides and more.

Head straight to the production site where you can meet up with Patrick who will be happy to tell you more about his work. You will find vegetables, fruit and flowers in bulk as well as seasonal baskets.

Market gardener and horticulturistEARL Debrie

EARL Debrie is located in Saint-Memmie and Sarry. On over 8 hectares of land, crops are grown according to the season and in open ground, ensuring the quality, taste and flavour of the produce.

If you would like to taste fresh seasonal vegetables, make a stop off at this market gardener’s farm. From one season to the next, you will find vegetables that have just come out of the ground and have retained all their taste and nutritional qualities.

Christine and Denis produce around thirty varieties of vegetables all year round, including lettuce, potatoes, radishes, tomatoes, spinach, courgettes, pumpkins, beetroot and aubergines.

Their produce is retailed in their local shop. They also offer vegetable baskets, as well as fruit, vegetable and floral plants, herbs, strawberry plants, bags of potting soil and more… You can arrange for home delivery on request.

Christine and Denis can also be found on the market in Châlons-en-Champagne every Saturday.
