La Foire de Châlons is the 2nd largest agricultural trade fair in France, and is undoubtedly the most important event of the Autumn, filling the Champagne region with a vibrant atmosphere over 11 days. During this period, La Foire en Scène festival offers free concerts every evening. In 2024, La Foire de Châlons will run from august 30th to september 9th.

La Foire de Châlons is an undeniable success, which continues to flourish after over 70 years of existence. With exceptional skill, it brings together around 800 exhibitors and 220, 000 visitors each year to provide a subtle and tasteful mix of hospitality, diversity, energy, innovation and sparkle.

A wide variety of restaurants with diverse menus, gourmet cuisine from all regions of France, the latest in interior and exterior design for your home or business, and much, much more…

You will find EVERYTHING at La Foire de Châlons including our region’s iconic beverage with numerous champagne producers’ stands and the huge Nicolas Feuillatte bottle which awaits you in the main courtyard for a tasting al fresco.

La Foire de Châlons marks the start of the political, economic and social season. Every year, it welcomes personalities from all walks of life. On the political side, Emmanuel Macron, François Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy have presided over its inauguration and numerous ministers including Lionel Jospin, Bruno Le Maire, Hervé Morin, Michel Barnier and François Baroin have been guests of the event.

The fair is also an opportunity to present local sports venues such as the football team Stade de Reims and the basketball team Champagne Basket .

Foire en Scène Festival

One day = one concert

Foire en Scène is the music festival organised as part of the Foire de Châlons. A programme of 11 exceptional concerts is presented during the event.

With a wide range of genres, there is something for everyone.

Once you have purchased a ticket for the fair, concerts are free. What’s more, if you buy a ticket for a concert, it entitles you to admission to the fair.

Open 10.30am to 9pm.

Saturdays, September 3rd and 10th

Open 10.30am to midnight. Please note that on both evenings, the big top and halls 2, 3 and 4 close at 10pm.

Monday, September 12th

Open 10.30am to 7pm.

From Mondays to Thursdays

Adults: 6€
Children under 12: 3€

From Fridays to Sundays

Adults: 7€
Children under 12: 3.50€
Free to children aged under 5

Free admission to concerts with the Foire de Châlons entrance ticket.

For people of 65 years and over, admission to the fair will be free of charge on Mondays, September 5th and 12th.

By car: You can park easily in the Saint Thiébault car park and take the free shuttle bus to the fair.
By bike or scooter: A bike park run by Avenir 2 Roues allows you to park your two-wheeled vehicle in complete security.
By bus: The bus lines take you directly to the entrance of the fair. There are 2 special services running on Sundays, September 4th and 11th.
